Posted by I am trying to trace some places my mother took me as a child. She and her siblings used to go to the Bringalily school. As a child she says local aboriginals used to call her Jaiki jaiki. They used to have a property with a lagoon where they would catch yellow belly. One year during a drought all the leaves had been eaten up as high as the sheep could reach standing on their hind legs. The ewes had miscarried and were all dead along the fence .She took me to a place where there was a small water hole/dam next to the footpath and there was a house further out in a paddock. I understand that the school building was removed. Her surname was McCorry. Would be pleased to get a few photos so could show my cousins.
