Looking at moving to Beechford

My wife Jamie is a psychologist and I am a retired writer, musician and former marketing consultant. We are considering buying a lot and building a small cottage. Would love to know the pluses and minuses of living in Beechford and look forward to meeting some resident artists and musicians.
